The Giants won this game 20-12 at the Polo Grounds and featured HOF’er Red Badgro and Chris Cagle. Cagle was a West Point College FB HOF’er who died in 1942 at age 37, from a peculiar mishap the day after Christmas. He was discovered unconscious at the bottom of a Manhattan subway stairwell. According to The Advertiser report, "Cagle tripped and fell the full length of a flight of subway steps. Also featured are HOF’er Ray Flaherty, HOF’er Mel Hein, John Shipwreck Kelly, and Bo Molenda. The Dodgers featured HOF’er Benny Friedman and Paul Riblett. This dates from the very early days in the NFL. These rarely come up for sale.
