1956 was the Twilight of Ted Williams career, but it seems that nobody mentioned this to the Splendid Splinter. Teddy Ballgame still hit .345 in 136 games, the most amount of games he played in since 1951. Williams hit 24 home runs, made the All-Star team, and came in 6th place for the AL MVP vote. This white back version of his Topps card displays brilliant colored artwork and extremely clean cream-white borders. An example deserving of the finest collections.
