This lot includes a West Coast Airlines notepad page signed by JFK, 3 photos of JFK’s small plane, and a letter(COA) explaining the circumstances around the signature. Linda Daugherty, who wrote the letter, explains how her father, who was an Oregon State police officer, was one of the few selected to escort Kennedy on the day he signed this notepad page. She tells how she was allowed on Kennedy’s plane with her brothers and mother along with a few other local residents. Her father, the police officer, obtained the autograph that evening. The photographs are pictures of the plane that Kennedy flew to Oregon on. The letter is 8.5 x 11 inches, the photos are 3.5 x 3.5 inches, and the notepad page with the signature is 7 x 4.5 inches.
