This lot of 7 baseball signed photos and letters – all deceased except Carl Erskine - includes: Lewis Drill (D 1969) played four seasons with the Washington Senators (1902-04), Baltimore Orioles (1902) and Detroit Tigers (1904-05). Carl Erskine was one of the Boys of Summer who played his entire career for the Brooklyn & Los Angeles Dodgers from 1948 through 1959. He was a pitching mainstay on Dodger teams which won five National League pennants, peaking with a 1953 season in which he won 20 games and set a World Series record with 14 strikeouts. He pitched two of the NL's seven no-hitters during the 1950s. We offer a letter from Erskine written to Tommy John asking him if he’d be interested in playing in a charity golf tournament. The letter is signed “Carl.”

Johnny Gill (D 1984) played for the Cleveland Indians from 1927 to 1928, the Washington Senators in 1931 and 1934, and the Chicago Cubs from 1935 to 1936. We offer an original 4” x 6” George Burke photo (this photo was produced in the 30's and has the original Burke stamp on the back) signed by Gill in Cubs uniform.

Al Glossop (D 1991) played for the NY Giants, Boston Bees, Phillies, Brooklyn Dodgers, and Chicago Cubs in a 7 year Major League career. We offer a signed and personalized original 6” x 8.5” 1942 Major League baseball Picture Pack photo as a Phillie.

Johnny Hudson (D 1970) played in the Majors from 1936-45 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, and NY Giants. We offer an original one of a kind snapshot photo (about 3.25” x 4.75”) of him in Cubs uniform. It’s stamped August 11, 1941 on the verso and signed in black fountain pen.

Bruce Ogrodowski (D 1956 at age 44) played for the 1936-37 St. Louis Cardinals. We offer a signed photo cut from a Who's Who book in the 1930's in fountain pen.

Hal Wagner (D 1979) played catcher in the Major Leagues from 1937-1949. He would play for the Philadelphia Athletics, Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Boston Red Sox. We offer a 6” x 9” premium photo in Red Sox uniform.
