In Mark’s PGA career that began as as a professional in 1983, he has won 7 PGA tournaments. We are thrilled to present his Winner’s Gold medal for winning the Greater Milwaukee Open that was played on August 29 – September 1, 1991. For obvious reasons, Winner's Gold Medals make it to the collector market very infrequently.
This medal measures 1.5 inches in diameter. We can not stress how rare these medals are. As far as we know, this is the first medal to ever come up for auction from the Milwaukee Open. This was a sanctioned PGA event from 1968 – 2009. Past winners of this tournament include golf legends such as Art Wall, Lee Elder, Mark O’Meara, Greg Norman, Jim Thorpe, Joe Ogilvie, and Bo Van Pelt.
