Pete Banaszak was a Running Back at the University of Miami and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders for whom he played for in the AFL and NFL from 1966 – 1978. Banaszak finished his career with 3,772 rushing yards, 121 receptions for 1,022 yards, and 51 touchdowns.
Banaszak was a member of the Raiders during their first Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl II. He also scored 2 touchdowns in the Raiders 32-14 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XI. He was also a part of the 'Holy Roller’ play that led to rule changes in the NFL about advancing fumbles. Banaszak appeared to try to recover the ball on the 12-yard line, but could not keep his footing, and pitched the ball with both hands even closer to the end zone

- 1966 Raiders (AFL) signed by witness and carbon signatures, but initialed by Banaszak & head coach John Rauch throughout. Accompanied by his pay stub and copy of his bonus check along with a Signed AFL Bonus Clause by Banaszak and Coach John Rauch
- 1967 Raiders (2) – signed by Banaszak & Stirling (GM) and another copy signed his rookie year by Banaszak and head coach Rauch.
