Chester "Chet" Wilburn (1906-1982) was a minor league baseball player who competed during the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. He played from 1929-41 for teams such as the Kansas City Blues, Portland Beavers, Milwaukee Brewers (including the 1936 Championship team), and the Baltimore Orioles. He was invited to spring training by the Tigers in 1937 along with Rudy York, but never quite made it to the show.

Offered is a heavily cracked Louisville Slugger Hillerich & Bradsby 125 game used professional model bat that measures 34.5” and 33.2 oz. in weight.
Presumably this was obtained when Wilburn was playing for Portland in the PCL in the 1930s
The bat derives from the collection of former Major League baseball player and PCL legend, Jigger Statz.
