Zack Wheat Signed B&W HOF Artvue Plaque Postcard Zack Wheat (D. 1972), nicknamed "Buck," was a left fielder for Brooklyn in the National League. He was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1959.
A consistent hitter throughout his 19-year career, he still holds many Dodger franchise records. His brother McKinley "Mack" Wheat also played in the major leagues, and the two were teammates in Brooklyn for five seasons.
Offered is his very sought after Yellow Baseball Hall of Fame Plaque postcard signed at the top in ballpoint. Wheat Yellow plaque postcards are one of the tougher ones in the series to obtain in signed format, as he had about a 5 year window of opportunity to sign these before his death.
Letter of Authenticity from Richard Albersheim.
