Tony Perez earned himself a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame with his storied 23 year playing career in which he played in 7 All-Star games and earned 2 World Series rings. He even won another ring as a coach. He is perhaps best remembered for being a part of the Reds “Big Red Machine.”
Offered is is a payroll check from the Boston Red Sox that dates from his 3 year stint in Beantown. Offered is a check from "7/12/82" has "Boston Red Sox" pre-printed at the top and made out to "Antanacio Rigal Perez" in the amount of $7,459.31", and endorsed on the reverse in blue ink "Tony Perez". None of the usual cancellation or paid stamps affect the signature. PSA encapsulated as AUTHENTIC.
