He later played for the New York Knicks, helping them reach consecutive NBA Finals in 1951 and 1952, and was an NBA All-Star in 1952. When Zaslofsky retired in 1956, he ranked third in league history in career scoring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eDespite those accomplishments, Zaslofsky has never been inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. He was nominated for the NBA’s 25th Anniversary Team and remains one of only two players nominated for that team who are not Naismith Hall of Famers.
