1915 Jack Warhop New York Yankees Early Pitching Star Original Press Photo

Jack Warhop was a right-handed pitcher for the New York Highlanders and Yankees from 1908–1915. He posted a 69–92 record with a strong 3.12 ERA and 463 strikeouts, often hurt by poor run support. Known for a submarine delivery, he notably allowed Babe Ruth’s first two career home runs.

Offered is an original 8” x10” photo that dates c. 1915 Head to toe action photograph of popular pitcher Jack Warhop from the New York Yankees in uniform and posing at the ballpark. The photo is a restrike from about the 1930's but it presents beautifully with almost a hundred years of age to it!
