Stanley "Bucky" Harris earned the nickname "The Boy Wonder" after becoming the youngest manager to win the World Series, guiding Washington to the 1924 title in his rookie season as a player-manager. He won a second AL pennant in 1925 and added another World Series ring managing the 1947 Yankees. Harris managed 29 seasons and 2,158 wins before his Hall of Fame induction in 1975.

Offered is a stunning, crystal-clear original 8" x 10" Type I photograph. This is a fresh to the hobby image and perhaps his finest image ever offered.  The photograph features the International Newsreel stamp on the verso that dates from 1922-28 (the stamp is still using their William Street address, so we presume this was most likely shot during the 1922 season).

Exceptionally rare!
