Tuffy Leemans (D. 1979) was the 1936 College All-Star game MVP. He was an aggressive, dedicated do-everything team leader. He was player-coach in his final 1943 season. He led NFL rushers as rookie in 1936, was All-NFL in 1936 and 1939, second-team All-NFL five times. His career totals are: 3,132 yards rushing, 2,318 yards passing, 422 yards receiving, 25 TD passes, and a 13.8-yard punt return average.
