Doris “Tetz” Tetzlaff (1921–1998) was a versatile infielder and later a chaperone during ten seasons in the AAGPBL. A Watertown, Wisconsin native, she played mainly third base for five clubs, including the Milwaukee Chicks, Grand Rapids Chicks, Chicago Colleens, Fort Wayne Daisies, and Muskegon Lassies. Reliable and adaptable, she reached the playoffs every year and won championships in 1944 and 1947. From 1950–53, she served as chaperone and assistant coach for the Daisies. She is honored in the AAGPBL exhibit at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Offered is an original TYPE I snapshot photo that measures 3.25" x 4.5" in size taken in 1947 in her AAGPBL official league jacket while she was playing for the Grand Rapids Chicks.  Nice shot with her hands on hips wearing a team cap, uniform under her jacket, and sunglasses while one of her teammates runs out of the clubhouse.
