The 1958-59 Minneapolis Lakers would be their second to last year in Minneapolis and finished with a 33-39 record. Despite their 2nd place Western Division finish, they went on a tear in the playoffs and ended up playing in the NBA finals; only to lose to the Boston Celtics in a 4-game sweep.
Offered is a 4” x 10.5” magazine photo signed during the 1958-59 NBA season (by an in-person collector) in blue ballpoint ink by 4 of the starting 5 during their second to last year in Minneapolis. Includes the vintage autographs of:
Jim Krebs (D. 1965 at the age of 29 in a tragic tree cutting accident)
Elgin Baylor (Deceased) HOF
Hot Rod Hundley (Deceased) 2 X All-Star
Larry Foust (D. 1984 at age 56) 8 X All-Star and candidate for the Naismith Basketball HOF
Some tough autographs on this very unique piece!
