Known for his exceptional speed and instincts, he was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and five-time First-Team All-Pro (1958-1962). Patton led the NFL in interceptions in 1958 and finished his career with 52 interceptions, ranking among the league's best. He was part of the Giants' 1956 NFL Championship team and earned a place in the New York Giants Ring of Honor. Patton's legacy endures as one of the greatest defensive backs in NFL history.He was a player/coach with the Giants from 1962-64)Pete Hall(drafted by the Giants in 1960 and was on the practice squad).He later played for the team in 1961.He may be best known for entering a life of crime; post NFL career. In 2024, as an 85 year old man, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison for attempting to sell drugs to an undercover cop.Lee Grosscup(D. 2020) QB,Pat Summerall(D. 2013), Lou CordiLeone(best known for being traded in 1961 to the 49ers for Quarterback, Y.A.
