1963-64 Billy Joe Denver Broncos AFL Rookie of the Year Original Team Issued Photo

Billy Joe was a collegiate and professional American football player and is a college football head coach.He was the American Football League Rookie of the Year in 1963 with the AFL's Denver Broncos. In 1965,he was traded to the Buffalo Bills for their legendary fullback, Cookie Gilchrist, and made the AFL All-StarTeam, starting for the Bills in their 1965 AFL Championship victory over the San Diego Chargers.Later, Joe was a successful college head coach for 33 seasons at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania,Central State University, and Florida A&M University. In 2007 he was inducted into the CollegeFootball Hall of Fame. He was a member of the 1969 Jets.Offered is an original team issued photo of Billy Joe (circa 1963-64) by the Denver Broncos.
