1966 Tom Satch Sanders Signed AUTO Original TYPE I Boston Celtics Team Issued Photo

Tom Satch Sanders (Thomas Ernest Sanders, 1937–2017) was a key forward on the Boston Celtics dynasty of the 1960s. A rugged defender and clutch rebounder, he helped Boston win eight NBA championships from 1961 to 1969. Sanders played in two NBA Finals Game 7s, delivering crucial performances in both. He averaged 8.6 points and 6.3 rebounds over his career and was known for his toughness, defense, and ability to elevate his play in big moments. Sanders was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012.published (and later the movie).

Offered is an original TYPE I Photo that measures 4” x  5” that we believe was issued by the Boston Celtics.  Signed in Black ink on the front by Sanders and stamped on the back (his name – in block letters – which the team would do) November 16 ‘66
