Arnie Weinmeister signed photo New York Giants FB HOF

Few players ever have been so dominant at their position in pro football than Arnie Weinmeister (D 2000) was in his six-year stint as a defensive tackle that began with the New York Yankees of the All-America Football Conference in 1948 and ended with the New York Giants of the NFL in 1953. One of first defensive players to captivate the masses, he was big, extremely fast with lateral mobility, and had a great ability to diagnose plays. He began pro play in AAFC and moved to NFL with 1950 merger. He played two ways in AAFC and exclusively on defense in NFL. He was All-AAFC in 1949 and All-NFL from 1950-1953. He was named to four Pro Bowls and was elected to the Pro FB HOF in 1984. His career is one of the shortest of any Pro Football Hall of Fame member.We offer a very cool 8 x 10 inch photo that he signed his name and wrote "Pro Football Hall of Fame 1984." This photo has traces of paper on the verso from previously inclusion into a scrapbook. The photo and autograph itself are in great condition. Gorgeous shot that we've never seen!
