Bill Russell Signed Photo Boston Celtics Late 1950s Period in-Person Autograph PSA/DNA

Bill Russell was one of basketball’s greatest champions, leading the Boston Celtics to 11 NBA championships in 13 seasons. A dominant defensive center and rebounder, he won five NBA MVP Awards and was a 12-time All-Star. Russell also won two NCAA championships at San Francisco and an Olympic gold medal. He entered the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1975.

Offered is an 8” x 10” page (page 39) pulled from the 1958 magazine, Who’s Who in Sports signed in the late 50s for an in-person collector. The autograph has been signed in signed in blue ballpoint pen and has been mounted to a board backing (giving it the feel of a regular photograph). Very rare period signature obtained in-person in the Bay area (where Russell went to college).
