Jim Tobin (1913–1969) pitched in Major League Baseball from 1937 to 1945 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Bees/Braves, and Detroit Tigers. He was an All-Star in 1944 and pitched a no-hitter on April 27, 1944 for Boston. Tobin was also a strong hitter, famously hitting three home runs in one game in 1942. He finished his career as a World Series champion with the 1945 Tigers.
