Jim Fregosi (1942–2014) was a six-time MLB All-Star shortstop best known for his career with the Los Angeles and California Angels. He was the Angels’ first star player (inducted into the Angels HOF), batting over .280 seven times and winning a Gold Glove. Later, he managed the Philadelphia Phillies to the 1993 National League pennant.
