Lou Johnson (September 22, 1938 – August 9, 2020) was an American Major League Baseball outfielder best known for his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played a key role on the 1965 World Series championship team, hitting a crucial home run in Game 7 against the Twins. Johnson also played for the Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, and Pittsburgh Pirates, and later starred in Japan with the Yomiuri Giants, helping bridge MLB and NPB during the 1970s.
Offered is this Louisville Slugger D89 most likely dates from his time with the Dodgers 1965-67 (based the #41 written in black marker on the knob). Nice usage and slight crack. Measures 34” and weighs 33.48 ounces.
