Wes Covington (August 22, 1934 – October 3, 2011) was an American Major League Baseball outfielder and first baseman who played from 1956 to 1966. He is best known for his time with the Milwaukee Braves, where he was a key left-handed power bat on strong pennant-winning teams. Covington also played for the Kansas City Athletics, Philadelphia Phillies, and Chicago White Sox, finishing his career with 131 home runs and a reputation as a reliable run producer.
This Louisville Slugger shows light usage and based on the markings on the knob (the number 4 is embossed in a dot matrix into the knob of thisW166 model. Presumably used by California Angels players during BP and possibly even in a game. Measures 33.5" and weighs 32.56 ounces
