Jay Johnstone (1945–2020) was a Major League Baseball outfielder known for clutch postseason play and colorful personality. He played from 1966 to 1985 with the Angels, Dodgers, Phillies, Yankees, and Cubs. Johnstone was a two-time World Series champion, winning titles with the 1978 New York Yankees and 1981 Los Angeles Dodgers, and earned a reputation as a reliable hitter in big moments and a respected clubhouse presence.
