Terry Whitfield was an outfielder who spent parts of seven MLB seasons with the Yankees and Giants before heading to Japan, where he truly flourished. With the Seibu Lions from 1981 to 1983, he posted back-to-back 100 RBI seasons, slugged 38 home runs in 1983, earned two Pacific League Best Nine Awards, and was named a Pacific League All-Star. He closed his career with three seasons as a Dodger.
