Dave Parker, nicknamed "The Cobra," was one of the most feared hitters in Major League Baseball during his 19-season career (1973-1991). Known for his powerful bat, rocket arm, and charismatic presence, Parker began his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he became a cornerstone of their lineup. He won the National League MVP in 1978 after leading the league in batting average (.334), slugging percentage (.585), and OPS (.979).
