Dazzy Vance (D. 1961) was one of baseball’s dominant strikeout pitchers, leading the National League in strikeouts seven straight seasons. He won the 1924 NL MVP and pitched a no-hitter in 1925. A two time ERA leader and Brooklyn Dodgers ace, Vance was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1955.
Offered is a gorgeous original 8” x 10” TYPE I Photo with the International Newsreel stamp on the verso – Circa 1922-28. This image was used to produce his 1925 Exhibits W461 and 1925 W504 Universal Toy and Novelty #115, 1931 Sun Pictures Photo Kits W626, and 1933 Uncle Jacks Candy
