George Sisler Signed AUTO Photo Baseball HOF St. Louis Browns Braves Senators D. 1973

George Sisler, St. Louis Browns first baseman, was one of the purest hitters in baseball history. A two-time batting champion and 1922 AL MVP, he batted .407 in 1920 while setting an MLB record with 257 hits, a mark that stood until Ichiro Suzuki broke it in 2004. A career .340 hitter, Sisler was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1939.

Offered is a 5” x 7” Magazine photo picturing George Sisler during his playing days with the St. Louis Browns in the early 1920s.  Mounted to a backing board, giving this the feel of an actual photograph. Signed in the 1960s in bold blue ballpoint ink.
