Joe McCarthy (D. 1978) was a manger in the Major Leagues for 24 years; never finishing out of first place. He won Pennants for the Cubs in 1929 and the Yankees in 1932, 1936, 37, 38, 39, 1941, 42, and 1943.He won 7 World Series Championships with the Yankees and four of them consecutively 1936-39.
