John Barnhill Signed 3x5 Index Card 2 X ABA Champion Indiana Pacers TOUGH AUTO

John Barnhill (1938–2013) was a professional basketball guard who played in the NBA, ABA and ABL. He won three consecutive NAIA championships at Tennessee State and later played for the St. Louis Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Baltimore Bullets and San Diego Rockets. Barnhill also helped the Indiana Pacers win ABA championships in 1970 and 1972. After retiring, he became an assistant coach under Bill Sharman with the Los Angeles Lakers from 1972–75, also serving briefly as interim head coach. Barnhill died on November 11, 2013, at age 75.

He was sick for many years with Mitochondrial myopathy and stopped signing autographs many years prior to his tragic demise.
