Pete Rozelle (D. 1996) served as NFL Commissioner from 1960 to 1989 and is widely credited with transforming the league into a national powerhouse. He negotiated lucrative TV contracts, helping launch "Monday Night Football" and securing revenue sharing among teams. Rozelle was instrumental in merging the NFL and AFL in 1970, creating the modern Super Bowl era. Under his leadership, the NFL's popularity soared, and he maintained league integrity through difficult times, including player strikes. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985, Rozelle's visionary leadership left a lasting legacy on professional football.Offered is an 8" x 11" Sport Magazine photo from the 1960s signed blue ink from the 1960s (signed in the 70s) of Pete looking over a contract with a cigarette burning in an ashtray before him.Tough autograph, as most of his in-the-mail autographs were autopen.Killer shot!!!
