Tim Lincecum was a dominant San Francisco Giants ace, winning back to back NL Cy Young Awards in 2008 and 2009. A four time All Star, he led the league in strikeouts three straight seasons and helped the Giants win three World Series titles. Lincecum also threw two no hitters and finished with 1,736 career strikeouts.

Tim Lincecum made his debut, striking out the side in the first but allowing five runs over 4.1 innings. Cole Hamels earned the win. Home runs by Shane Victorino and Ryan Howard powered Philadelphia.
