Walter Kiseling- (D. 1962) had 34-year career as pro player, assistant coach, & head coach. He played for the Duluth Eskimos, Pottsville Maroons, Chicago Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and the Pittsburgh Pirates (Steelers). He was named to the NFL 1920's All-Decade Team, and a member of the 1936 NFL Championship Green Bay Packers. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame 4 years after his death and is considered by many collectors as a Top 5 Tough Pro FB HOF autograph to acquire.Offered is an 8.5" x 11" typed letter signed in black steel tipped pen (comes with original envelope) on Pittsburgh Steelers letterhead dated April 10, 1956 as head coach of the Steelers.He writes to aspiring NFL football player, Art Ceder turning down Art's request for a tryout with the Steelers.Kiesling then goes on to explain why this is the case.
