Whitey Ford (1928-2020) was a Hall of Fame left-handed pitcher for the New York Yankees (1950-1967). Known as "The Chairman of the Board," he posted a 236-106 record with a 2.75 ERA. Ford won six World Series titles and holds World Series records for wins (10) and strikeouts (94).
