Dazzy Vance (D. 1961) was one of baseball’s dominant strikeout pitchers, leading the National League in strikeouts seven straight seasons. He won the 1924 NL MVP and pitched a no-hitter in 1925. A two-time ERA leader and Brooklyn Dodgers ace, Vance was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1955.
Offered is a 6.5” x 8.5” YPE I Photo with the International Newsreel stamp on the verso – that is the very same image used to produce his 1928 R315 Kashin Baseball card. Original paper captions has become detached, but is included with the photo.
