1947 CENTENNIAL FLOUR SEATTLE RAINIERS BILL POSEDEL Signed AUTO PCL Baseball Card

Bill Posedel (D. 1989) was a late-blooming right-hander who won 20 games twice with the Portland Beavers in the PCL before reaching the majors at 31. He won 15 games with Boston in 1939, including five shutouts. After pitching, he became a respected PCL manager and renowned pitching guru, later shaping staffs for multiple clubs and helping develop Oakland’s championship arms.

Offered is his 1947 Centennial Flour Seattle Rainiers baseball card that Posedel has signed and inscribed “Best Wishes – Gary” Bill Posedel.  Signature would rate a 9.5 out of 10.  The card is gorgeous with the exception of two small pin holes and a checkmark in the upper left-hand corner on the back of the card.

To date, PSA has graded a grand total of 2 of these cards (neither have been signed).
