Oakland scored 817 runs while allowing 828. Augie Galan led the club with 13 home runs, and Loyd Christopher drove in 83 runs. Pete Pavlick posted a team-best .271 batting average among regulars. On the mound, Bill Ayers won 20 games, Earl Harrist added 15 victories, and Lloyd Hittle led the regular pitchers with a 3.74 ERA.
