The 1954 Cleveland Indians put together one of the greatest regular seasons in American League history, finishing 111-43 to set an AL wins record that stood for decades. Bob Lemon, Early Wynn, and Mike Garcia anchored a dominant rotation, while Bobby Avila won the AL batting title. Larry Doby led the league in home runs and RBI. The Indians went on to face the New York Giants in the World Series.
