The 1956-57 Syracuse Nationals had a solid regular season, finishing 38-34 and securing a playoff spot in the Eastern Division. Led by star forward Dolph Schayes, who averaged over 22 points per game, the Nationals were a competitive team in the early NBA era. They advanced to the Eastern Division Finals but were eliminated by the Boston Celtics, who went on to win their first NBA championship that season. The Nationals played their home games at the State Fair Coliseum and were known for their balanced scoring attack. This season came just two years after their 1955 NBA championship victory.Offered is an 8x10 inch team photo signed on the back in blue ink by 10 members of the team.Includes autographs of:A Bianchi (D. 2019)Ed Conlin (D. 2012)Bob Harrison (D.2024)Joe Holup(D. 1998) rookie year autograph in his only year with SyracuseBob Hopkins (D. 2015) cousin of Bill RussellJohnny Red Kerr(D. 2009)Earl (Early) Lloyd(D. 2015) Basketball HOFTogo Palazzi (D. 2022)Dolph Schayes(D. 2015) Basketball HOFPaul Seymour(D. 1998)JSA COA
