Tom Gola (D.2014) is considered one of the greatest college hoopsters of All Time. In 1954, he was selected as the National Player of the Year (the equivalent to winning the Wooden Award today). That same year, his La Salle team won the National Championship.In a pro career that spanned from 1955-66 with the Warriors and NY Knicks, he was a 5 time NBA All-Star. He was part of the 1956 Philadelphia Warriors NBA championship team in 1956.
