The 1964 T.A.M.I. Show (short for Teen Age Music International) was a groundbreaking concert film that captured some of the biggest rock, soul, and pop acts of the era performing live at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Filmed over two days in October 1964 and released later that year, it's widely regarded as one of the most electrifying live concert films ever made. The Rolling Stones were part of the all-star lineup, which also included James Brown, The Beach Boys, The Supremes, Chuck Berry, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, and many others. The Stones performed several songs, including "Around and Around," "Off the Hook," "Time Is on My Side," "It's All Over Now," and "I'm Alright."The show is especially famous for James Brown's explosive performance, which reportedly made the Stones nervous about following him. Mick Jagger later acknowledged that they struggled to top Brown's energy that night.Offered is an original TYPE I photo measuring 8"x 10" in size of the Rolling Stones at the cusp of the International Fame performing at the T.A.M.I.Gorgeous historic shot that ran several times in newspapers through 1965.
