1979 Lou Brock Cardinals HOFer & Movie Star Robin Williams Original TYPE I Snapshot Photo

In August of 1979 future Hall of Famer, would play in his last series of his career against the Dodgers which coincided with the annual Hollywood Stars Night exhibition game at Dodger Stadium, where a team of Hollywood celebrities faced off against members of the media. This game took place right after the highly successful first season of his hit television show Mork & Mindy. Williams famously entertained the crowd by staying in character as Mork from Ork, which included his iconic comedic bit of running the bases completely backward.

Offered is an original 3.5” x 5” (approximate size) of Lou Brock clowing around with Robin Williams before the game. Taken by infamous freelance photographer, Mel Bailey (from his personal archives) and developed in his home darkroom. Period color matte finish snapshot.
