Hank Aaron was one of baseball’s greatest players, starring for the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves from 1954 to 1974 before finishing with the Milwaukee Brewers. A 25-time All-Star and 1957 National League MVP, Aaron broke Babe Ruth’s career home run record in 1974. He retired with 755 home runs, 3,771 hits and an MLB-record 2,297 RBIs. Aaron was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982.

Offered is a postcard from Opening Day 1975 at Fenway Park in Boston, with George (Duffy) Lewis throwing out the first ball as Hank Aaron watches. It is a standard continental size, 4” x 6”  B&W  postcard. These postcards were manufactured by Dian’s in Providence, RI

We’d rate this blue sharpie ink autograph by Hank Aaron a 9 out of 10.  We’ve never seen this postcard signed before!

The caption on the back reads, “Hank Aaron, the Homerun King, opening day Fenway Park, 1975. George (Duffy) Lewis, member of the World Champion 1912, 1915, and 1916 Red Sox, throws out the first ball.

This was Aaron’s debut in Milwaukee Brewers uniform after spending his entire MLB career with the Braves.
