Herb Pennock Signed AUTO Album Page 1927 Yankees Dated 8/28/1932 Baseball HOF PSA/DNA

Known as "the Squire of Kennett Square," Herb Pennock was regarded as one of the greatest left-handed pitchers in baseball history. Signed by Connie Mack at 18, he later blossomed as the ace of the powerhouse New York Yankees teams of the 1920s, winning 241 games lifetime with a 3.60 ERA. A key contributor to four Yankees World Series titles, he went a perfect 5-0 in Fall Classic appearances. Pennock was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1948, the same year he passed away.

Offered is a signed 3.5” x 6.25” album page with a photo of Herb Pennock attached signed in black fountain pen and dated on August 28, 1932 in his hand.

This was most likely signed at Yankee Stadium when the Yankees had a Double Header against the White Sox.  Of note, Babe Ruth had a Home Run in each game that day, while Herb had the day off, so he had plenty of time to sign for fans.
