Jumping Joe Fulks Signed AUTO Philadelphia Warriors Early 1950s TYPE I Original Photo Snapshot

“Jumpin’ Joe” Fulks (1921–1976) was one of professional basketball’s first great scorers and a pioneer of the modern jump shot. He led the Philadelphia Warriors to the 1947 BAA championship, won the league’s first scoring title and was a two-time NBA All-Star. In 1949, Fulks scored a then-record 63 points in one game. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1978.

Offered is a 5” x 3” deckle edged original TYPE I snapshot photo on Kodak Velox Paper (period photograph paper) of Fulks sitting on the bench in his Warriors warmup jacket.  Signed in blue ink (contrast is poor, but Jumping Joe did sign the photo).  Super tough autograph as he was shot and killed in a domestic dispute at the age of 54.
