Mike Flanagan (1951–2011) was a left-handed pitcher who spent 18 major league seasons with the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays. He won the 1979 American League Cy Young Award after posting a 23-9 record and helped Baltimore win the 1983 World Series. An All-Star in 1978, Flanagan finished his career with 167 victories. Tragically, he died by suicide on August 24, 2011, at age 59.

Offered is an Official American League (Budig) baseball the Flanagan signed and personalized to fellow Baltimore Orioles shortstop, Mike Bordick who was with the Orioles from 1997-2002 (while Flanagan was in the broadcasting booth during this time).

Flanagan has included a heartfelt inscription covering the north and south panels, which reads "Bordi, There are certain players that made their mark on the game. So always be proud of the way you played the game! Mike Flanagan 2002".

Beautiful one of a kind piece for the most ardent of Baltimore Orioles’ fans.
