Paul Brown was an exceptionally successful coach at all levels of football. He organized the Browns in the AAFC in 1946, built a great Cleveland dynasty with 167-53-8 record, won four AAFC titles, three NFL crowns and had only one losing season in 17 years. He was a revolutionary innovator with many coaching "firsts" to his credit and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame before Cincinnati Bengals tenure.
