Roger Maris (D. 1985) was a seven-time All-Star and two-time American League MVP who played 12 major league seasons. In 1961, the New York Yankees slugger hit a then-record 61 home runs, breaking Babe Ruth’s single-season mark of 60. Maris won three World Series championships, two with the Yankees and one with the St. Louis Cardinals, and finished his career with 275 home runs.

Offered is a 6.75” x  9.5” Sport Magazine Photo signed in blue ballpoint pen that has been mounted to a board backing (giving it the feel of a regular photograph (Very rare in photo format). Signed during his playing days for an in-person collector.
